What a Joke!
The bag clearly states 300 pieces. However, I had assumed they were the smaller trick or treat size snacks. NOPE, 150 of the smaller snack size and 150 of individually wrapped Starburst. (See photo).

Great deal/ didn’t love the candy packaging
Is a great deal. The 1 thing i would say i dont like is the fact that there starburst wrapped as 2 pack & then there’s a ton of them loose as single pieces. When i was a kid i was told to toss out candy that was “open” or singlized like how they came in this bag because looked suspicious compared to the rest of the candy.

There were some Starbursts in two packs like the picture but many were singles. I’m not sure parents would want their children to receive those while trick or treating.

Why are there single starburst in here?
This is a trick within a treat. I was bamboozled by this shenanigan last year! 300 pieces but like 75 of them are single starburst that are not sealed in a way that can be handed out on Halloween and I am not planning on eating them.

I expected all of the candy to be sealed in little packets. Each bag (I purchased 2) had about 50 Starbursts that were loose in the bag. I only give kids sealed candy for Halloween so ran a little short filling treat bags.

I got these for Halloween while they were largely discounted and it’s a good thing I did. The week before Halloween my 26 year old son discovered this treasure trove of all his favorite candies, declared the holiday had been cancelled, and vanished with the entire bag. LOTS of loose Starbursts
I bought this on sale to hand out for trick-or-treaters. This one bag was a great value, and should have covered the entire evening. But once I opened it up, I was amazed to see how many loose Starburst candies were present.These are not items that I would hand out to kids without being in the additional wrapper that puts them together in pairs, because I am sure parents will question the safety of the candy. I hope that I will have enough to hand out even with all of those extras, but if they are counted in total candy quantity I will be cutting it close.

I need to start reading things before I buy never again was to many loose candies’ starburst. was not worth the purchase why not keep the starburst in the packs so may loose its ok if it for you and the kids but not for trick treat and like 10 lifesavers all the rest were skittles and loose starburst

Starburst are in 2-packs AND individual pieces
Bait-and-switch! Yes, there are 300 pieces of candy in here, but a good amount of them are individual Starburst candies. Not all of the Starbursts are in the 2-packs like what are shown. Only one of the images on the site shows an individually wrapped Starburst. All the other images and even the video only show the 2-pack Starburst packs.

Great value
This bag came in clutch on a very busy Halloween. We had so many kids come by trick or treating. My only gripe and it’s my fault, is that even though there are 315 pieces, they hit this number by putting lots of individual starburst candies. So some Starburst come in the two piece package but many are just individual. I found this to be deceptive but overall this is a great buy

Loose starbursts
It was good variety but I counted how many loose starbursts I had and it was 193….. so out of 315 that’s not a good deal. I didn’t think it was going to be this large amount since someone else said she only got 50 loose starbursts. I also wouldn’t feel comfortable giving this out during Halloween.

FRESH candy
I am the official tester of the Halloween treats before the critical day arrives. It’s a tough job but someone has to step up to the ‘plate’. Anyway, ordered the Amazon big-bag of goodies and was very pleased with the offer. All the included treats were fresh and delightful, all were individually wrapped and perfect for the ‘goblins’. Additionally if any treats are left over I will be happy to clean up the remnants. ;>)

Buyer beware! Picture and description suggests that Starburst are individual duo packs. Instead Starburst were individual pieces that counted toward total. A classic bait and switch. I requested a return but was told item is not returnable. I went into the chat and was issued a refund based on product not as advertised and I did not have to return it. 10/04/2023

This is NOT 300 as advertised (Starbursts Packed In Batches Of Two)
The package came today and I was a bit nervous that some of the starburts weren’t in two pack wrappers considering the photo shows the candies being packaged two to a pack. Figuring that they must have “burst” from their packs as I had seen some chocolates do in a variety bag, I unloaded and counted all of the items. This is what I got:75 Skittles66 Lifesavers35 Starbursts (2 Pack)130 Starbursts (Singles) < which isn't photographed as being part of the assembly.By doubling on the singles to make a 2-Pack, there are 241 Candies.If you leave it as is, there are 306 Candies.If you open the Starbursts packs, you get 341 Candies.The photo is misleading as it doesn't show that you'll get individually wrapped candies as part of the whole count. As someone who is making 100 Goodie Bags with three "whole" Candies each, I needed 300. Now I will be unwrapping the candies, filling the starbursts bag with two in each as expected and coming up with the difference (59 Candies) with a different solution. This is an annoyance for something so blatantly misadvertised. They made up for the lower count by putting singles in and for the price paid, not worth it. 2 people found this helpful

You don’t get what you think
You might be getting 300 pieces but this is a scam. There were this many loose Starbursts in just one of the bags along with a few of the actual packs that contain 2 Starburst per sealed pouch. I wouldn’t let my child eat one of these if they were given it by someone while out trick or treating therefore I wouldn’t give these out to other peoples children. We give out close to 1500 pieces of candy on Halloween. This was a waste of money and I bought two of them unfortunately.

Ordered this for a school event and needed over 250 pieces of candy. Disappointed when the individual single wrapped starburst were included in the total of 300 pieces. Probably only 40 bags of skittles.

Nice variety weird that the starburst are loose
Why would a bag of candy for trick or treaters have individually wrapped starburst loose? I had to buy little baggies to make packages for the kids. Good value but next year they should package two starburst together like they normally do.

Not quite as advertised!
The regular starbursts are individually wrapped, not the snack size two pack one would expect. This has two affects 1) artificially increases the contents count by essentially doubling the number of starbursts (30 packs of two would instead be listed at 60 pieces), additionally some of the individual packs may not be fully sealed and thus probably thrown away. 2) causing the regular starburst to dry out faster and become harder than if they were double packaged as regular snack size candies.

I didn’t read comments before purchasing, but want to leave an additional comment for those that will read them. This has individual/single Starbursts that count toward the 315 pieces, so you are not getting 315 large pieces/packages.

Not as advertised!
The media could not be loaded.
This should contain packs of 2 Starburst – instead it is individual Starburst. I can’t give this away as Halloween candy. I guess I could put them in a bowl and let kids take 2 or 3, but they will take a handful. The little 2-packs would be better, and that’s what ALL of the pictures show.

Loved how BIG the bag is. This year I am going to fill little goody bags with candy and I always like to have an option that does not have peanuts and is not chocolate! Don’t get me wrong – I LOVE chocolate but I know not everyone can have it! This bag of candy has lots of options with lifesavers, skittles and starburst! With 315 pieces there are plenty to share! 5 Stars! Bargain – I ordered it when it was on special!

FYI: almost half is littles
Yes, I counted them. 137 little single pieces of starburst.If you have a Costco near you, go with that. Their Party mix bag is labeled 175 pieces on the bag, and the 150ish single pieces of starburst in that bag are in ADDITION to the 175 other pieces. Not the case here. Definitely way more bang for your buck at Costco. Even their 150 count bag of fun size chocolate bars has varied amounts in each bag, but always between 160 and 180 pieces. This 315 pieces is a RIP off compared to that.

Disappointing
The bags are huge. I ordered 8 for Halloween. I was disappointed in how many empty wrappers of the lifesavers candy that each bag contained. Some had sticky candy attached. For as much as we spent on candy, we expected a piece in every wrapper. It was also disappointing that each bag had so many single Starburst candies. I would have preferred the 2 packs of Starburst to give out as a treat.
