What is Capitals Kremlin?
Capitals Kremlin is a hockey blog that focuses on the Washington Capitals, the team's Russian players, and other happenings in the NHL. We mainly post about the Washington Capitals, but don't be surprised if you see us talking about other teams in the league.
Who's behind this site?
My name is Reed and I'm the editor of Capitals Kremlin. Most people just call me "CK". Tilly Caps Fan is our relatively silent partner who helps out around the blog in various ways. For the most part, I (Reed) do all the posting, although Tilly Caps Fan chimes in time-to-time with great insights.
How did Capitals Kremlin get started?
I'm a journalist and am a huge Caps fan. Given that I enjoy writing and I love sports, I wanted a way to combine the two. I created Capitals Kremlin as a way to write every day and hone my skills, but it eventually evolved into something much larger and now we're here at Bloguin.
How long has Capitals Kremlin been publishing?
Capitals Kremlin started in July of 2008, but in September of 2008 the site began to see daily content. Ever since then we have been providing content daily. We strive to have at least two pieces of content a day, but don't be surprised if you see much more than that.
What are some common features on Capitals Kremlin?
We provide pre-game reports before every Capitals game called pre-Caps. We also run a daily post that provides links to some of the best blog stories of the day. Other than those two staples, we generally post anything from statistical analysis of players or the team's recent performance, and commentary about recent trends in the NHL.

Do you have any rules?
Yes. Be respectful, be mindful of your language, and have fun. I will delete any comments I find malicious, off-topic, or just plain crude. If you want to start Internet flame wars, there's plenty of forums to do so on. Caps Kremlin is not one of them. Remember, be respectful, be mindful of your language, and enjoy the game of hockey. This goes for all fans of all teams.
